Danai Dermata was born in Athens but grew up in Congo (RDC). She has a diverse amount of experience, handling a wide variety of cases bringing a unique perspective from the business world with an understanding of the challenges clients face and how to effectively help them overcome those challenges to achieve their business goals.
Danai concentrates her practice on complex commercial matters, representing clients in disputes involving breach of contract, financial services, bankruptcy and telecommunications.
Danai has worked and represented a wide range of financial institutions and corporate clients, therefore having a unique perspective in connection with a variety of financing transactions, including structured financings, leasing transactions and DIP loans.
She is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of the University Pierre Mendès-France Grenoble II, with a degree in Corporate Law (Maîtrise en Droit des Affaires). She also holds a Master’s degree in private law (DEA en droit privé) from the same university.
She is fluent in both French and English.
